The countdown to 2012 is approaching quickly and reservations for New Years Eve at The Whitney are filling up fast. The Whitney will be offering three dinner seatings as well as a New Years Eve Celebration party. A four course meal with wine pairings will be served during each seating at 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. The New Years Eve celebration party begins at 10 p.m. and will include live music, hors d'oeuvres, a champagne toast at midnight, and open call bar from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. For more details and pricing information, please call The Whitney at 313.832.5700. The Whitney Celebrates the New Year

It's said the way you spend New Years Eve foreshadows how the pending new year will pan out. That being said, who wouldn't want 2012 to be as fabulous as a night spent at The Whitney? The Whitney will be offering three dinner seatings and an all-access New Years Eve party December 31st. The dinner seatings will be at 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m., with the New Years Eve Celebration Party beginning at 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.. Wild Game Dinner

With the end of hunting season drawing near it's time for the Whitney chefs to show off their skills when preparing wild game. The Whitney will be hosting a Wild Game Dinner on Wednesday, November 30th at 6:30 p.m. The dinner will consist of a four course meal with wine and beer pairings at a cost of $65.00 per person. We welcome you to join us and enjoy a taste of nature!

December at The Whitney

The month of December is quickly approaching. Please join The Whitney for our Saturday and Sunday "Santa Brunch". Our Santa brunch will feature our brunch buffet along with our Santa available for pictures. Fall is in now in full swing and it is time to start thinking about planning your Holiday Parties at The Whitney. The Whitney offers an array of options to ensure you get just the type of event you're looking for to celebrate the Holiday Season. On a separate note, The Whitney will be hosting the VIP guests the morning before the Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. The Whitney offers them a warm place to stay before their chilly walk down Woodward.

The Whitney Turns 25!

The Whitney is thrilled to be celebrating it's 25th Anniversary. As part of the celebration through the months of October and November The Whitney will be offering four specialty menus in addition to the regular dinner menu. These specialty menus will unite the best of The Whitney's past and present dining fare. The Whitney is excited to celebrate it's first 25 years and looks forward to serving you at least 25 more!

DIFFA at The Whitney

Thursday, September 22nd, DIFFA, Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids, will be holding a fundraiser to benefit the Michigan AIDS coalition. The Whitney is honored to be providing food for the event, as well as hosting the After Party in the Whitney Garden.

Canine to Five

The Whitney is proud to host the Canine to Five event Tuesday, September 20th. Canine to Five is Detroit's most celebrated dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility. The event will take place from 6:30 until 10:00 where guests will be welcome to bring their dogs to enjoy The Whitney Garden with them. Summer is coming to an end, but there is still time to participate in the summer festivities happening at The Whitney. Metro Times will continue hosting The Whitney Garden Parties through the month of September. The Whitney and the Michigan Humane Society's Animal House Party

The Whitney is proud to support the Michigan Humane Society in holding the annual Animal House Party this Saturday, August 6th. The party starts at 8 pm and there will be food, drink, and music to enjoy. All proceeds will go to the Michigan Humane Society. This is one event this summer you do not want to miss!
